Take advantage of some of the voter freebies. If you like coffee go to Starbucks for their free offer. If you like doughnuts, go to Krispy Kreme for a free doughnut. You can even get ice cream from Ben & Jerry's for voting. If you haven't voted, hurry up so you can cash in!

Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on the way you look at it, I was unable to take advantage of some of those great freebies on election day as I was in charge of one of the polling places. We had a ground-breaking record turn-out, which was good. We registered 587 new voters. Needless to say it was a long day (and night) and thoughts of food were further away than thoughts of bed as the day drew to a close.
