Today is the 25th birthday of the Macintosh and wanted everyone to know. My how you have changed over the years. I love my Macs (yes I have more than one), but that's all I'm going to say about that now.
I can't believe you used a stock photo when you could have had dad just go to the garage where he keeps his original mac and snap a photo for you~ I have such happy memories on that machine.
Although this looks just like the machine Dad has in the garage this is the very first iteration, Dad's is the third. They look different from the back.
I'm pretty sure we had the first generation Mac for a while, which I later personally disassembled to solder in a 512K memory upgrade. We saw the signatures molded inside the plastic case of the original Macintosh team. Dad traded that one to someone else to get a Mac Plus later, as I recall.

You were just a baby when Dad brought one of these home. I still remember writing my first paper on that computer. Yay for Mac!
